The City Commission and the Budget Advisory Board will hold their second joint workshop to discuss the preliminary budget and long-term financial plans.

The City Manager will present the submitted proposed budget, Community Investment Plan, and non-ad valorem assessment rates to the City Commission. The City Commission will set the maximum millage rate and debt service rate for the City.

Time: 6:00 p.m.

The City Auditor's Office reviews the Proposed Budget to assess its reasonableness and compliance with financial regulations, identify potential areas of concern like excessive spending, inadequate funding, or improper allocation of funds, and provide recommendations to the City Commission for adjustments before final approval.

The City Commission will hold their last joint session with the Budget Advisory Board for final recommendations on the millage rates and non-ad valorem rates.
